The Fandom and Me (and a little pixie)
A long time ago (more then five years ago) Pixie Child and I built a BtVS website called See No Evil hosted at angelfire, under the joint 'net name Dark Will. It was 'absolute crap' (to quote Pixie) but at the time, we were so proud of it. But after a few months, my parents divorsed and I moved away with my mom. After a while, we both lost interest in it when we wern't able to work on it together after school. We still stayed in contact and are really good friends.
So when she contacted me to judge fanfic at The Dangerous Type Awards, I was really excited. Unfortunatally, in the last few rounds, we got few submissions and the host of the site went offline, it stayed down. But I really didn't want to say out of the fandom now because I really liked working on the internet and being a part of the fandom even though I can't write. That's why when Pixie Child "drafted" me to help out at I Know Stuff I was so excited.
She asked me if it would be okay if she put up the stuff we made for See No Evil under our individual names, and I said of course! She'd done most of the writing and we'd both made the graphics, but it was easy to remember who made what. But I decided that I wanted to have a site to put my work on as well so she offered to host it and help me build it because I know next to nothing about HTML coding.
